Mumbai Attacks….

Getting over the haunting fear after seeing the death so near
The roads I thought were my own and could count on every stone
Commercial capital for some, but it was a magical city for everyone
A feather in the cap of my country and envy for the neighboring country

It was the tip of India’s growth and was hope for every scope
When we saw the bullets pass by, every eye considered it to be a lie
The roads I thought were my own and could count on every stone
But the blood and the desperate screams were the axe on my dreams

The country woke up in a shock as the civilized world had been rocked
Everyone felt the pain as the innocent blood went down the drain
Our leaders stood in shame as the country understood their game
Masses had a new fire the country had to be rewired

Corruption had got the better of my nation and was killing every aspiration
People had to take the blame for enduring the dirty game

Masses had a new fire the country had to be rewired
But Can we actually unite for the tough fight
Or are going to turn a blind eye and let this opportunity pass by
